Grandma vs. The Machine
One of the great movies I grew up watching as a kid. Grandma vs. The Machine asks all the important questions, including what would Grandma do during a robot uprising? Surprisingly, the answer to that question is all to cool!
The action is surprisingly inventive. One chase scene features a mobility scooter with its speed limiter removed, while a tense interrogation ends when Doris discovers the robot cannot leave until she stops saying goodbye.
The film occasionally struggles with pacing, particularly during a seventeen-minute sequence in which Grandma searches her purse. However, the director insisted this was essential to the realism.
