The story

A kingdom without light

Aether Crystals powered everything from streetlamps to the heart of the capital. Then they went silent, leaving a kingdom in the dark and three unlikely adventurers to find out what happened.

Sir Anthony has a spellbook, Sir Ben has a sword, and Lady Ally has enough good sense to ask whether either of them packed supplies. Together, they set out to restore the light.

Meet the party

  • The mage

    Sir Anthony

    A level-one mage with a level-ten attitude. He brings his spellbook and the confidence of someone who skipped the warning on page one.

  • The sellsword

    Sir Ben

    A swordsman who owes money to half the country. Going on a quest is a good excuse to be out of town when the bills come due.

  • The healer-in-training

    Lady Ally

    Cheerful, resourceful, and probably the most qualified of the bunch. Somebody has to keep the other two on their feet.
